The three Democrats running for Connecticut’s 5th District Congress seat will meet in Litchfield Saturday morning for a final debate before the Aug. 14 primary. The League of Women Voters, which is sponsoring the event at 11:30 a.m. at the Oliver Wolcott Library, 160 South St., said there will be no “gotcha” questions allowed.
The debate will be in the “cumulative time” format, and will be moderated by Jean Rabinow, an attorney from Bridgeport. According to the League, the debate will not be open to the public.
