Bloomberg super PAC spends $1 million on Roraback

Republican Andrew Roraback is getting a last-minute boost from several outside groups, with only a few days before the 5th Congressional District election.
A super PAC started by New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg, the Independence USA PAC told the Federal Elections Commission yesterday that it would spend $1,090,000 in media buys for Andrew Roraback.
Bloomberg announced recently his endorsement of Barack Obama.
The House Majority PAC kicked in another $100,000 in ad buys, bringing its total investment in the race to nearly $600,000.
