As the Hartford Courant’s Christopher Keating reports, Speaker of the House John Boehner is coming to Connecticut Tuesday to stump for Andrew Roraback.

According to Roraback’s opponent, it’s further proof that the Republican is a Tea Party vote-in-waiting.

“John Boehner is coming to Connecticut to raise money for Andrew Roraback because he knows that Andrew Roraback is another vote to continue the extreme Tea Party agenda,” Elizabeth Esty spokesman Jeb Fain said in a statement to the Courant. “And fortunately for Speaker Boehner, Senator Roraback already shares many of his views including support for raising the Social Security retirement age and cutting benefits.”
