As Terry Cowgill writing for CTNewsJunkie.com points out, candidates have been playing the game of guilt by association quite a bit lately, including those candidates vying for the 5th Congressional District.

Elizabeth Esty, for example, has been accusing Andrew Roraback of being associated with presidential candidate Mitt Romney not once but several times. But Roraback could (and has) play the guilt-by-association game, too.

Cowgill notes that Roraback could (and has) counter that Esty’s association with Gov. Dannel P. Malloy is far closer than his own relationship to Romney, seeing as Esty’s husband works for the governor.

And, in that game, Roraback wins, according to Cowgill.
