Report: Working Families to vote on Esty endorsement tomorrow

According to the Hartford Courant, the Working Families Party will vote on whether or not to endorse Elizabeth Esty on Wednesday.

The party had endorsed Chris Donovan, whose name appears on the Working Families Party ballot line as a result, but Donovan lost the primary to Esty.

Donovan has yet to remove his name from the ballot, but should they elect to endorse her, once he does Esty will take his place.

I will be very surprised if the WFP does not endorse Esty. I think that she is someone who shares their most progressive principles, even if she has sometimes disagreed over the means to make things better for working families.

That would be perfect…link her shoulder to shoulder with the Obama/Biden/Malloy/Esty agenda of socializing the economy, picking winners and losers, further complication of our Byzantine tax code and ridicule of anyone who still believes in solid family values and American exceptionalism.

Does the 5th district really want another representative from the far left, who will march in lock-step with Blumenthal, Murphy and DeLauro in blind obedience?
