As the Hartford Courant reports, both union president John Olsen and Gov. Dannel P. Malloy are encouraging Chris Donovan to remain off November’s ballot.

“He knows there’s no path to victory for him right now,” Olsen told the Courant.

According to Malloy, when you lose a primary, “You congratulate your opponent and move on.”
