Union president: A third-party candidate is “not viable”

As the Connecticut Mirror reports, John Olsen, president of Connecticut’s AFL-CIO, said, ”There is no path toward a Working Families victory with a third-party candidate. I just don’t see that. That’s something that is not viable.”
But, as MyLeftNutmeg.com’s Al Robinson pointed out, Olsen sang a different tune in 2006, when he worked to get Joe Lieberman elected despite losing the Democratic vote.
